Introduction

To reserve a FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLE ADOPTEE this Commitment Contract must be filled out and submitted.

ADOPTING A SIX TO SEVEN YEAR OLD BREEDING RETIREE:

The commitment fee for adopting a six to seven-year-old adult adoptee is $100.00. The remaining balance will be for all charges above and beyond the commitment fee for the spay/neuter, teeth cleaning, heartworm test, rabies vaccine and any medications required after surgery. These charges are to be paid by you by debit/credit card directly to FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLES. In most cases you should be able to pick up your ADOPTEE two weeks after surgery at FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLES. If we are shipping your FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLE ADOPTEE to you it will be a minimum of two weeks after the surgery before we can ship.

ADOPTING A HEALTHY YOUNG ADULT: FIVE YEARS OR LESS
The commitment fee for adopting a young (five years old or less), healthy, well socialized adult is one half of the total adoption fee as determined by FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLES on a case by case basis. The remaining balance will be due by the day the spay or neutered is scheduled.

ADOPTING A SPECIAL NEEDS ADULT OR PUPPY:
The commitment fee for adopting a puppy, a young or older adult with special needs is determined on case by case basis. This fee will be discussed when you first contact us concerning a specific special needs Standard Poodle.

We care about our Standard Poodles from the day they are born till the day they pass on to RAINBOW BRIDGE. Because we care, we expect every adopter to abide by all conditions and terms listed below. If for any reason the following conditions are not met, we will impose a $5000.00 civil fine to the original ADOPTER. Please be sure you are fully committed to following the terms in this contract.

If for any reason you cannot continue to care of your ADOPTEE, or it is determined the ADOPTEE is not the proper fit for you or your family, including any other animal family members, you are required to notify us immediately. We will help to resolve these issues but if a solution cannot be reached you are required to return the ADOPTEE to us. We will rehome the ADOPTEE for the price that you set minus a $250.00 handling/deposit fee paid to us. If your ADOPTEE has been shipped to you, we will assist in rehoming the ADOPTEE from your location by placing him/her back on our website. Or you can ship the ADOPTEE back to FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLES.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON ANY SHIPPING or DELIVERY CHARGES.

Permission to Investigate

By submitting this application to FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARDS, I grant them permission to investigate my answers and to contact anyone I have listed.

FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARDS reserves the right to refuse any applicant or potential adopter, at any time, who we feel not to be an appropriate home for our Standard Poodle.

Any dog adopted through FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLES must be returned to FAMILY AFFAIR or let FAMILY AFFAIR oversee any transfer of ownership. They cannot be transferred without FAMILY AFFAIR’S permission to another person or rescue without a Civil fine of $5000.00.

Financial and Physical Verification

I hereby certify that I am financially and physically able to care for a FAMILY AFFAIR STANDARD POODLES’ ADOPTEE as well as provide bedding, toys, crate, grooming, vet bills. I further testify that I am physically fit to provide all necessary activities with my dog.
