I had been a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. My last position had a commute of an hour and 15 minutes if the traffic was good. The driving time and gas prices just got to be too much, so I left my job to find something closer to home. I checked with my local vet, but she had no openings. Several weeks later my vet's office called to refer me to a job they thought I would like. It was with a breeder. I was very hesitant, but went for the interview anyway. I was very surprised to see so many healthy, happy, tail waggers! The premises is kept as clean as any veterinary hospital I have worked in, the dogs are groomed on a regular basis, and have the best of veterinary care.
These dogs are not timid or frightened. They have indoor/outdoor kennels and get to play with toys and children. They all have good temperaments, and have been well socialized. I am so happy that I accepted the position and am continually impressed by the care and treatment that they receive from Blake and Wendy and their family.
